First Post

Sharing my random thoughts on almost everything.

So yeah, this is my first blog post.

I honestly don't have a specific theme for this blog yet. I just want a place where I can write whatever is on my mind.

Most of the time, it will probably be about Data Science, software development, AI, projects I've worked on, and random things I learn along the way.

Especially now that I'm technically GRADwaiting from my MSDS, I finally have more time to do these things again. Hahaha.

For the past year, a lot of my time went to classes, projects, requirements, presentations, and basically just trying to survive grad school. 😂 Now that most of that is finally behind me, I want to spend more time building things again, experimenting with ideas, and maybe documenting some of them here.

I've been working as a software developer for years, and recently I also went deeper into Data Science. Because of that, I already have a lot of projects, experiences, mistakes, and random learnings that I want to document somewhere.

So I thought, why not put them here?

Which is kind of funny because ChatGPT once basically described me as an introvert.

And now I'm here making a public website to expose my diary to the internet. 😂

Makes sense.

Some posts might be technical. Some might be about a project I worked on. Some might just be me sharing how I approached a problem, what worked, what didn't, and what I would probably do differently next time.

I'll also share my POV on different things, especially AI.

AI is moving really fast right now, and since I work around software development and Data Science, I use these tools a lot. I also have a lot of thoughts about where all of this is going.

Maybe some of my opinions will age badly. 😂

That's fine.

At least I can look back at these posts someday and see what I was thinking at the time.

I also want to write about my experience studying Data Science at AIM.

There's honestly a lot to talk about there.

Going back to school, learning new things, working on different projects, getting stressed, questioning my life choices while debugging something late at night, and just the whole experience in general.

But AIM was not just about the academics.

A big part of the experience was also working with my LTmates or CPTmates.

We spent a lot of time together working on requirements, solving problems, preparing presentations, fixing things at the last minute, getting confused together, getting stressed together, and somehow still managing to finish what we needed to finish. 😂

There are probably a lot of stories there that won't make sense to anyone outside the group, but those are also the things that made the whole MSDS experience memorable.

The group work was not always easy, of course. Different people have different ways of thinking, working, and handling pressure. But I think that was also part of the learning experience.

You don't just learn Data Science.

You also learn how to explain your ideas, defend your decisions, compromise, work with different personalities, and somehow get everyone moving in the same direction when a deadline is getting dangerously close. 😂

So when I eventually write about my AIM experience, I don't want it to be just about subjects, grades, models, or projects.

I also want to write about the people I went through it with, especially my LTmates or CPTmates, because they were a big part of the experience too.

I don't think I can put all of that in one post, so I'll probably write about it little by little.

And then there's this website.

Honestly, this website exists partly because I've been spamming Codex lately. LOL.

I keep asking it to build something, change something, fix something, then change it again because I suddenly have another idea.

Then I hit the 5 hour limit.

I hate that 5 hour limit. 😂

Sometimes you're already in the zone, everything is moving, you're trying different ideas, and then suddenly that's it.

Come back later.

Very annoying. LOL.

But somehow, while experimenting with Codex, I ended up building this website pretty quickly.

Then I thought...

"Okay, I already have a blog. I guess I should actually write something."

So here we are.

I don't know how often I'll post here.

Maybe often.

Maybe once in a while.

Maybe I'll disappear for a month and suddenly post three things in one night. 😂

We'll see.

For now, I just want this to be a place where I can document what I'm building, what I'm learning, what I'm thinking about, and whatever else I feel like writing.

Nothing too serious.

Just an introvert casually exposing his diary on the internet.

Let's see where this goes.
